About the Web Developer Role

Fakeeh Care Group is seeking a Web Developer to join their team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for the ongoing update and maintenance of the company's websites, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all information. The Web Developer will also contribute to developing creative ideas and concepts, implementing robust web security measures, and collaborating with the development team to enhance website functionality and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement ongoing development, updates, and patches for Fakeeh Care Group websites, minimizing disruptions.
• Assist in developing new website aesthetics, updating content, and supporting redevelopment efforts.
• Identify and promptly resolve web page or server issues.
• Review and update web page content and links using appropriate tools.
• Design, build, and maintain websites utilizing authoring/scripting languages and digital media tools.
• Write, design, or edit web page content, or oversee content production.
• Evaluate code for validity, structure, and compatibility across various browsers and devices.

Technical Development and Security

• Develop front-end and back-end website architecture and applications.
• Create servers, databases, and APIs to ensure full website functionality.
• Test software for responsiveness and efficiency, and troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade as needed.
• Monitor systems for intrusions or denial-of-service attacks and report any security breaches.
• Implement comprehensive website security measures, including firewalls and encryption.
• Administer Internet/Intranet infrastructure, including web, FTP, news, and mail servers.
• Regularly test backup and recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability.

Collaboration and Process Enhancement

• Collaborate effectively with the development team to resolve usability issues and enhance user experience.
• Confer with management and the development team to prioritize needs and resolve conflicts efficiently.
• Participate actively in agile software development methodologies, covering design, implementation, and deployment phases.
• Collaborate on automation strategies and deployment processes to streamline workflows.
• Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure to support project needs.
• Work on automating and improving development and release processes.
• Stay updated on web development trends through continuous learning and participation in conferences.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in web development.
