The Role: QA Technician

Almarai is seeking a dedicated QA Technician to join its team in Hail. This full-time position is integral to ensuring quality standards within the company's Poultry Operations. The QA Technician will coordinate all quality-related aspects under the guidance of the SQAM/DQAM (Poultry) to support the plant's Quality team in effectively managing all quality processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate all quality-related aspects within the Poultry Operations.
• Provide support to the Quality team within the plant to ensure effective management of all quality processes.
• Operate under the guidance of the Senior Quality Assurance Manager (SQAM) or Divisional Quality Assurance Manager (DQAM) for Poultry.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Services or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Quality role within a Meat Processing Plant, with a preference for experience in poultry.
• Demonstrated experience at a supervisory level.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Proficiency with best practice Quality standards, including those outlined by APD and ISO 22000:2005.
• Good working knowledge of general Quality standards.
• Ability to independently conduct Quality awareness programs.
• Familiarity with quality systems and audit procedures.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with a multinational workforce.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
