About the Role

Jazeera Paints is seeking an R&D Engineer to manage a diverse portfolio of research and development projects. This full-time role involves overseeing projects from initial prototyping through to market execution, translating insights into technical briefs, and collaborating with R&D team members and partner functions. The position is based in Hawtat Sudair.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze data and insights to identify industry and consumer trends related to products and categories.
• Develop a strategic long-term plan for category development.
• Formulate exit strategies for unsuccessful products.
• Manage category management projects to optimize product ranges and related merchandising efforts.
• Oversee budget development and revenue for assigned categories.
• Independently manage a complex portfolio of R&D projects through all phases, from initial prototyping to market launch.
• Translate consumer and customer insights into actionable technical briefs in collaboration with marketing and sales teams.
• Collaborate with R&D team members and partner functions to design, develop, and execute new products, processes, and packaging solutions.
• Represent R&D in cross-functional project meetings, both internal and external, ensuring alignment on project deliverables, action standards, and timelines.
• Implement proper knowledge management practices throughout the project lifecycle to maintain product development records for intellectual property protection.
• Utilize internal and external networks to advance project progress.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive pipeline development and execution.
• Provide insights into pipeline development based on a thorough understanding of consumer needs, ingredients, and process functionality.
• Ensure all project work adheres to the governance of the Internal Change Management System.
• Execute all function-related activities using safe and environmentally friendly methods.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor or manager.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position within Jazeera Paints, located in Hawtat Sudair. The role involves working collaboratively with various internal teams and external partners to achieve project objectives.
