About the Role

Jazeera Paints is seeking a Painting Technician to join its team in Khamis Mushayt. This full-time role is essential for executing all painting and finishing tasks efficiently and professionally, ensuring high-quality results that align with company standards and client specifications.

Role Purpose

The Painting Technician is responsible for delivering professional painting and finishing outcomes, adhering to established company standards, client specifications, and safety regulations. This encompasses comprehensive surface preparation, precise paint mixing and application, and meticulous coordination and documentation of samples for both general project requirements and product development initiatives.

Core Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to determine project requirements.
• Visit job sites to verify that work specifications align with approved plans.
• Prepare work areas by setting up scaffolding, covering fixtures, and ensuring proper environmental conditions.
• Clean, sand, and prepare walls, metals, or other surfaces according to company standards.
• Mix paints, coatings, and related materials to achieve the required color, texture, and finish, maintaining consistency and timing accuracy.
• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using appropriate tools and techniques such as brushes, rollers, or spray guns.
• Produce and apply paint samples for testing or client approval, ensuring adherence to color codes and quality standards.
• Conduct preliminary tests (*, adhesion, drying time) to verify paint quality and application results if needed.
• Label, document, and record all samples, including material specifications, application methods, and test outcomes.
• Package and ship samples securely, coordinating with relevant departments and authorities whenever needed.
• Collaborate with sales, R&D, and project teams to ensure that product and color requirements are fully met if needed.
• Maintain and clean all painting tools, spray equipment, and work areas after use.
• Handle all chemical and hazardous materials safely, following company and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and communication throughout the project lifecycle.

General Duties

• Execute activities related to the function using safe and environmentally sound methods.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the direct supervisor or manager.
