About Almarai and the Role

Almarai (المراعي), a leading food and beverage company, is seeking a dedicated Production Officer (Seafood) to join its team. This full-time role is based in the Makkah region and involves leading a self-directed, multi-functional team in the efficient processing and packing of various seafood products.

Role Summary

The Production Officer (Seafood) is responsible for overseeing the entire seafood production process. This includes ensuring that all activities, from processing to packing, adhere to company specifications, production targets, and stringent food safety standards. The role focuses on maintaining product quality, optimizing yield, and achieving operational efficiency within established management parameters.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate team members to achieve daily seafood production targets according to product specifications and quality standards.
• Provide on-the-job training and coaching to ensure all employees perform their tasks safely, efficiently, and in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and food safety requirements.
• Oversee seafood processing activities, including cutting, trimming, glazing, grading, and packing, to ensure adherence to yield and quality targets.
• Review production plans with the Planning Department to guarantee product availability according to schedules.
• Maximize service to internal customers by ensuring the right product is delivered at the right time and specification.
• Ensure all seafood products meet company quality and safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in a production or processing environment, preferably within the seafood industry. A strong understanding of food safety standards, production efficiency, and team leadership is essential for this role.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position located in the Makkah region, with potential work locations including Rabigh, Makkah, and King Abdullah Economic City. The role requires on-site presence to manage production operations effectively.
