The Opportunity: Senior Production Planner (Seafood)

Almarai is seeking a Senior Production Planner (Seafood) to join its team in the Makkah region, covering locations such as Rabigh, Makkah, and King Abdullah Economic City. This full-time position is central to optimizing production processes within the seafood division.

Role Purpose

The Senior Production Planner is responsible for preparing detailed production plans based on available forecasts and actual sales order requirements. A key objective is to ensure the effective utilization of processing and packing machine assets. The role also involves continuous monitoring of the production plan throughout its cycle and communicating any necessary changes to relevant departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop practical plans for daily and weekly planning meetings, aiming to meet all operational requirements.
• Strive for 100% optimization of processing and packing machines to maximize efficiency.
• Ensure all processing and packing plans adhere to established norms and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to prevent non-conformance and concessions.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in production planning, preferably within the food and beverage or seafood manufacturing sector.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in the Makkah region, with potential work locations including Rabigh, Makkah, and King Abdullah Economic City. The role operates within Almarai’s dynamic manufacturing and distribution environment.
