Field Service Engineers

About the Role

HUDSON is seeking Field Service Engineers for contract positions across various cities in Saudi Arabia, including Al Ula, Medina, Al Jubail, Dammam, Rabigh, and Ras Tannurah. This role focuses on providing specialized field services for Medium Voltage (MV) Motors and/or Medium Voltage Variable Speed Drive (VSD/VFD) systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing installation and commissioning of MV Motors.
• Conducting testing and startup procedures for MV Motor systems.
• Executing preventive and corrective maintenance on MV Motors and associated control/protection systems.
• Troubleshooting and repairing MV Motor systems.
• Commissioning and starting up MV VSD/VFD systems.
• Working with VSI / LCI drives and MV soft starters.
• Troubleshooting and repairing MV Variable Speed Drives.
• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on MV Variable Speed Drives.
• Undertaking drive refurbishment and upgrades for industrial applications such as pumps, compressors, fans, and large motor systems.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates must possess hands-on experience in one or both of the following areas:

• Medium Voltage Motors: Experience in installation, commissioning, testing, startup, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of MV motor systems and associated control/protection systems.
• Medium Voltage Variable Speed Drives: Experience in MV VSD/VFD commissioning and startup, VSI / LCI drives, MV soft starters, troubleshooting, repair, preventive and corrective maintenance, and drive refurbishment and upgrades for industrial applications.

Prior field service or customer-site experience is preferred, along with the ability to work independently.

Contract Details and Compensation

This is a 1-year contract position, renewable based on performance and project needs. The salary is open and negotiable, dependent on the candidate's experience and technical expertise.

• Working Hours: 48 hours per week, 6 days per week.
