The Role

AECOM is seeking an ICT Senior Engineer to join its team in Duba, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves performing specific and moderate portions of broader engineering assignments, with a focus on heavy water systems and aquatic engineering applications. The role requires developmental experience in a professional position with demonstrated expertise in heavy water or advanced water systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and correlate basic engineering data using established procedures, including water quality metrics, system performance indicators, and heavy water operational parameters.
• Work on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations, testing, and analysis related to water treatment systems and heavy water operations.
• Propose approaches to solve new problems encountered in water systems by modifying standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignments.
• Identify discrepancies in results and troubleshoot water system performance issues.
• Provide guidance to entry-level engineers on heavy water systems, water treatment protocols, and related technical procedures.
• Perform work in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule with minimal supervision, ensuring compliance with water safety and environmental standards.
• Independently complete all tasks necessary for primary design elements for water systems and heavy water engineering works.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant professional engineering position.
• Demonstrated expertise in heavy water or advanced water systems.
• Ability to apply established and well-defined engineering procedures.
• Proficiency in calculations, testing, and analysis related to water treatment systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills for water system performance issues.
• Capability to work independently and provide technical guidance.
