The Role: Engineering Manager

Almarai is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join its team on a full-time basis. This role is central to leading the operation, maintenance, and reliability of large-scale ammonia refrigeration plants and utility systems that support the company's food manufacturing and cold storage operations. The Engineering Manager will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and uninterrupted plant performance, while also driving engineering excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the maintenance and reliability efforts for ammonia refrigeration and utility systems.
Manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), Process Safety Management (PSM), and food industry safety standards.
Drive improvements in plant uptime, energy efficiency, and equipment reliability.
Oversee engineering budgets, Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) projects, contractor management, and spare parts inventory.
Lead and develop a team comprising engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
Utilize SAP/CMMS systems for effective maintenance planning and reporting.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position must possess a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in engineering management, particularly within environments involving large-scale ammonia refrigeration plants and utility systems in food manufacturing or cold storage operations.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position. The role will involve working across Almarai facilities located in Makkah, King Abdullah Economic City, and Rabigh.
