Agent Reservation Sales

About the Role

Courtyard by Marriott is seeking an Agent Reservation Sales to join their team in Makkah. This full-time position involves managing reservation requests, ensuring guest satisfaction, and supporting revenue maximization through effective sales techniques. The role requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail.
• Identify guest reservation needs, determine appropriate room types, and verify availability and rates.
• Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies clearly to callers.
• Accommodate and document special requests from guests.
• Answer questions regarding property facilities, services, and room accommodations.
• Apply sales techniques to maximize revenue and communicate information for designated VIP reservations.
• Input and access data within the reservation system.
• Address challenges in accommodating rooming requests by coordinating with relevant individuals or departments.
• Ensure accuracy of room blocks and reservations, input group rooming lists, and revise room blocks to maintain required room availability.
• Maintain organized files for all groups and set up proper billing accounts according to Accounting policies.

Operational Standards and Guest Relations

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Communicate using clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately, and answer telephones with appropriate etiquette.

Team Collaboration and Compliance

• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, supporting the team to achieve common goals.
• Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements and Additional Duties

• Read and visually verify information in various formats.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
