About Al Marwa Rayhaan by Rotana and the Role

Al Marwa Rayhaan by Rotana is seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager - Marketing to join its team in Makkah. This full-time position is designed for professionals who are passionate about marketing and communication, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and creative solutions within the hospitality sector.

Purpose of the Role

As an Assistant Manager - Marketing, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Marketing & Communication Team. Your primary focus will be on the organization of various events and actively seeking related sponsorships. This involves securing funding to cover event expenses while also generating revenue for the hotel through strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in maintaining and implementing an effective filing and administrative system for all matters related to sponsorship and event organization.
Identify and maintain a general database of potential sponsors for all events, and target specific sponsors relevant to each event.
Negotiate and manage arrangements with potential sponsors to secure advantageous agreements.
Engage and meet with potential sponsors and clients to foster relationships.
Formulate all correspondence pertaining to sponsorship proposals, negotiations, and other related communications.
Collaborate with concerned hotel departments to ensure all sponsor branding is executed as per contractual agreements during events.
Assist in maintaining effective working relationships with target media members (electronic, print, local, national, international) to maximize event and promotion coverage.
Host media representatives, strategic partners, and key clients at property functions and events.
Support the production of all promotional material, including the gathering of supporting data and collateral.
Capture photographs of internal functions, banquet and conference events, and VIPs.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in marketing and communication, preferably within a guest-focused environment. The position requires professionals who are dynamic, customer-service oriented, and capable of providing creative solutions.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based at Al Marwa Rayhaan by Rotana in Makkah. The role involves working within a collaborative Marketing & Communication Team, engaging with various internal departments, external sponsors, media, and clients.
