The Role

Accor is seeking a Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing to lead the commercial strategy for ibis & adagio, Mercure Makkah Alazizia & ibis styles Makkah. This full-time position is based in Mecca, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and requires a professional with over 10 years of experience in sales and marketing within the hospitality sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall Cluster Sales & Marketing strategy in alignment with hotel commercial objectives.
• Lead the annual Sales Plan, Marketing Plan, budget, and revenue targets for the cluster.
• Drive business development across key segments including Corporate, Government, Groups, Leisure, Wholesale, Travel Agencies, Tour Operators, and Hajj & Umrah.
• Identify new business opportunities and cultivate strong relationships with key accounts, partners, and market stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities for revenue growth and market share.
• Lead and motivate the Sales & Marketing teams, ensuring clear objectives, KPIs, and continuous performance improvement.
• Collaborate with General Managers, Revenue Management, Operations, and Finance teams to maximize overall hotel performance.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key local, regional, and international accounts.
• Oversee the implementation of marketing, PR, promotional, and digital initiatives to strengthen hotel positioning and brand visibility.
• Monitor sales performance and provide regular commercial reports, forecasts, and business insights to hotel leadership.
• Ensure effective participation in trade shows, sales calls, client events, and relevant tourism and hospitality activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing and motivating sales and marketing teams.
• Strong understanding of market trends, competitor analysis, and customer needs in the hospitality sector.

Work Environment

This role is based in Mecca, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and involves working across a cluster of Accor properties including ibis & adagio, Mercure Makkah Alazizia & ibis styles Makkah. The position is full-time, and the salary will be discussed during the interview process.
