Dermatology Consultant

About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a Dermatology Consultant to join their team in Makkah. This full-time position involves diagnosing and treating dermatological conditions, providing patient care, and contributing to the continuous improvement of clinic services. The role requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients, document findings, and design individualized care plans.
• Educate patients on their health conditions, required investigations, treatment options, medication use, health promotion, and disease prevention.
• Order and review results of patient investigations, and prescribe appropriate medications.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all Nahdi Care Clinics (NCC) Policies and Procedures, Bylaws, Strategic Plan, Rules & Regulations.
• Participate actively in assigned NCC Committees and Task Forces.
• Ensure compliance with CBAHI standards of care and participate in continuous quality improvement activities.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments, agencies, vendors, patients, and their families.
• Integrate population factors such as heritage, environment, and disease prevalence into patient care.
• Develop, participate in, and support Continuing Medical Education programs for the assigned Section, Department, or Clinic.

Specialty Tasks and Coaching

• Perform specific privileges based on training, experience, skills, and Saudi health council guidelines.
• Provide second opinions for specialists and senior specialists to ensure knowledge sharing and adherence to best practices.
• Support the Medical Director, when needed, in the performance management process for specialists and senior specialists by providing objective evaluations.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in Dermatology.
• Evidence-based practice orientation.
• Commitment to continuous professional development for junior staff.

Work Environment

This role is based 100% indoors. The work schedule consists of 6 working days per week with 1 day off. Daily working hours are 8 net hours, structured according to a shift schedule approved by the head of the department.
