About the General IT Services GM Role

This full-time position for a General IT Services GM at Abdul Latif Jameel, located in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, involves leading the analysis, design, and implementation of software modules. The role also encompasses providing essential operational support for the Parts Application.

Role Purpose and Scope

The General IT Services GM is responsible for the full lifecycle of newly developed software modules, from initial analysis and design through to configuration, testing, implementation, documentation, and staff training. This role requires advanced technical competency and plays a critical part in ensuring the high quality and performance of application software, while also analyzing business requirements and developing necessary enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis, design, configuration, testing, implementation, documentation, and staff training for new software modules.
• Provide day-to-day operational support and enhancements for existing applications, including the Parts Application, for all and Wholesale dealers.
• Analyze business requirements, assess the impact of enhancements, and develop required modules.
• Perform complex programming and development tasks, including designing, documenting, and coding program logic and system flow documents.
• Define system requirements, priorities, and viable alternatives, participating in the development of key business processes, data models, system design, and technical requirements.
• Prepare and review detailed project plans, conduct impact analyses, monitor project progress, and ensure successful execution.
• Ensure developed application software meets high quality and performance standards, in compliance with architecture guidelines.
• Identify and document business, technical, and process requirements, collaborating with business clients to prioritize and define acceptance criteria.
• Provide technical training, guidance, and prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for business clients and end users.
• Address issues from Wholesale-Clients related to supporting applications, clarifying problems and finding solutions.
• Pilot newly developed modules, monitor activities, and conduct data analysis.
• Ensure application users are fully aware of new enhancements and arrange for comprehensive testing and user acceptance.
• Deploy new modules to production environments following change management procedures.
• Monitor and provide online support during month-end operations across all centers.
• Troubleshoot day-to-day issues for application users, ensuring resolution and high availability in responding to business-critical issues within Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT services, software development, and application support.
• Advanced knowledge in designing, configuring, testing, implementing, and documenting software modules.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze business requirements and develop corresponding software solutions.
• Proficiency in complex programming and development tasks.
• Experience in technical training and preparing SOPs.
