The Role of Laboratory Technician

Saint-Gobain GCC is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join its team in Makkah, specifically in King Abdullah Economic City. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and involves conducting various laboratory tests and supporting product development and quality control activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and non-routine laboratory tests on raw materials, finished products, and prototypes.
• Assist in product development and formulation trials under the supervision of the technical team.
• Maintain accurate records of test results, formulations, and observations.
• Ensure all lab equipment is calibrated, maintained, and used according to safety and quality standards.
• Support quality control activities and investigate product complaints or non-conformities.
• Collaborate with production and R&D teams to improve product performance and resolve technical issues.
• Follow safety protocols and contribute to a clean, organized, and efficient lab environment.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in a laboratory setting.

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, specifically within King Abdullah Economic City.
