Operations Supervisor

About the Role

Amazon Saudi Arabia is seeking an Operations Supervisor for a full-time position in Makkah. This role involves motivating a team to achieve productivity targets and ensuring operational efficiency in line with company goals. The Operations Supervisor will work closely with the Shift Manager to address issues and maintain workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe working environment by identifying safety opportunities within the work area.
• Manage and train Associates to ensure high-quality customer service.
• Ensure customer orders are fulfilled according to quality and safety guidelines.
• Provide critical shift-related information to frontline management and operators.
• Adjust labor allocation during shifts to meet and exceed operational plans and forecasts.
• Engage with support functions and other departments to resolve common issues or needs in key performance areas such as process readiness, 5S, safety, and training.
• Contribute to solving logistics and supply chain challenges through data analysis, innovation, and process optimization.

Daily Operations

The Operations Supervisor demonstrates strong communication skills and a high level of ownership, leading by example. This role requires developing expertise in all operational processes, analyzing data, and motivating team members. A key focus is consistently placing the customer at the center of all decision-making.

Work Schedule and Physical Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, shift, or work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Work 40 hours per week, with overtime as required.
• Capable of lifting up to 49 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 9 hours.
• Frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching are required.
