An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Laundry Attendant to join the team at Jumeirah Jabal Omar in Makkah. Jumeirah Jabal Omar Makkah provides a blend of comfort, connectivity, and Arabian hospitality in the heart of the Holy City, minutes from Masjid Al Haram.

Role Overview

The Senior Laundry Attendant will be responsible for executing complex laundry tasks and ensuring high standards of quality and guest satisfaction. This full-time position involves operating and maintaining laundry equipment, assisting with workflow monitoring, and supporting inventory control within the laundry department.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle complex laundry tasks, including delicate fabrics and special treatments, ensuring quality and guest satisfaction.
• Operate and maintain laundry equipment, performing minor troubleshooting and reporting issues promptly.
• Assist Team Leads in monitoring workflow and ensuring timely completion of laundry operations.
• Conduct quality checks on laundered items, ensuring adherence to Jumeirah standards before delivery.
• Support inventory control by tracking linen and uniform usage and reporting shortages.
• Train and guide new laundry attendants on proper techniques, safety protocols, and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) compliance.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Experience: 0-1 years in a relevant role.

Required Skills

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Competency in MS Office applications.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, within the Jumeirah Jabal Omar property. The role involves working as part of the laundry operations team.
