About the Senior Officer IT GRC Role

The Saudi National Bank (SNB) is seeking a Senior Officer IT GRC to join its team in Makkah, specifically in Jeddah and Makkah cities. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on supporting the IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance (IT GRC) function through various governance activities, compliance monitoring, risk assessment, and control framework implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute governance activities, monitor compliance requirements, and assess technology risks to ensure alignment with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Adhere to all compliance, regulatory, and control requirements, including but not limited to, the Bank’s AML/CTF policy, guidelines, SAMA regulations related to account opening, KYC, Customer Due Diligence, and fraud detection & prevention.
• Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of IT governance frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures across technology domains.
• Conduct technology risk assessments and support the identification, analysis, and mitigation of technology risks.
• Monitor compliance activities and ensure adherence to applicable regulations, standards, and internal requirements.
• Assist in tracking remediation plans and following up on corrective actions with stakeholders.
• Support internal control testing activities and monitor control effectiveness.
• Prepare governance dashboards, reports, and management information related to risks, controls, and compliance activities.
• Collect, analyze, and validate data to support governance reporting requirements and assist in preparing internal and external compliance reports.
• Assist in monitoring governance performance indicators and portfolio governance activities, and support the tracking of technology initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to streamline governance processes, improve operational efficiency, and support automation initiatives related to risk monitoring, reporting, and compliance.
• Promote best practices and contribute to strengthening governance maturity across technology functions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Security, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in IT or IT governance roles.
