About the Role

Sadeef (سديف) is seeking a Technical Office Engineer to join its team in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for professionals with 0-1 years of experience who are prepared to contribute to the successful delivery of various projects.

Role Overview

The Technical Office Engineer plays a critical role in supporting project execution by managing technical documentation, ensuring compliance with specifications, and facilitating effective communication among all project stakeholders. This position is central to maintaining project quality, adherence to technical standards, and progress tracking.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review shop drawings and other essential technical documentation.
Perform accurate quantity take-offs and prepare comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
Generate detailed progress reports and prepare project payment certificates.
Coordinate effectively with project teams, consultants, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.
Review technical specifications to ensure full compliance with all project requirements.
Prepare and manage material submittals, technical submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), and as-built documentation.
Monitor project documentation and maintain accurate technical records throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide essential technical support to project teams and assist in resolving engineering-related issues.
Execute any additional duties and responsibilities related to the Technical Office function as assigned by the Company or direct management.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience in a technical office or an engineering support role. A foundational understanding of engineering principles, project documentation processes, and construction methodologies is required.
