About the Role

Al-Futtaim Automotive FAMCO is seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial vehicles, ensuring adherence to manufacturer standards and company procedures. The successful candidate will contribute to maximizing vehicle uptime and delivering high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, breakdown repairs, and running repairs on commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and powertrain-related issues.
• Execute repairs involving clutch systems, brakes, aggregates, and other vehicle components.
• Ensure repairs are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with OEM standards.
• Identify additional repair opportunities and provide technical observations to improve vehicle performance.
• Utilize diagnostic tools, workshop equipment, and special service tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain accurate technical reports and identify root causes of vehicle concerns.
• Follow workshop safety standards, ISO requirements, and company procedures.
• Support and guide junior technicians to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to repair standards.
• Participate in continuous learning and technical training programs to enhance product knowledge and technical expertise.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in commercial vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repair.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve high productivity, efficiency, and quality standards.
• Strong experience in commercial vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repair.
• Knowledge of diesel engines, common rail systems, powertrain, driveline, electrical systems, and air conditioning.
• Familiarity with OEM repair standards, SOPs, and workshop best practices.
• Willingness to travel and attend field breakdowns and on-site repairs when required.
