About the Assistant L&D Manager Role

Hilton is seeking a dedicated Assistant L&D Manager to join our team in Makkah or Jeddah. This full-time position involves providing comprehensive administrative and coordination support for learning and development initiatives, ensuring efficient operation and high standards across various HR and training functions. The role is crucial in maintaining accurate records and facilitating effective training programs for team members.

Learning and Development Coordination

This role focuses on the logistical and administrative aspects of training delivery and support. Key responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling and coordinating training classes, including maintaining an up-to-date training calendar.
  • Developing and distributing training brochures and flyers to effectively notify team members of upcoming classes.
  • Tracking employee sign-ups for training sessions and preparing all necessary materials, such as certificates of completion.
  • Preparing and distributing reports that measure training results and overall effectiveness.
  • Maintaining an accurate inventory of all training supplies, stationery, and office equipment.

Human Resources and Administrative Support

The Assistant L&D Manager will also provide essential support to broader HR functions and administrative tasks, including:

  • Maintaining employee records, encompassing personnel files and learning history, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assisting the HR Administrator with various aspects of recruitment and hiring processes for new team members.
  • Coordinating the internal job opportunity system to facilitate internal mobility and career progression.
  • Assisting in maintaining an active list of labor resources and helping to coordinate the advertising of current job openings.
  • Inputting and tracking data for various Hilton quality measurement programs, such as Guest comment cards and Standards of Product and Performance, into a computerized tracking system.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess the following:

  • A minimum of 0-1 years of experience in a related administrative, coordination, or HR support role.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in data entry and maintaining accurate, detailed records.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with team members and preparing materials.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in either Makkah or Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role operates within a dynamic hospitality environment, supporting the learning and development needs of Hilton team members to ensure high operational standards.
