About the Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts® is seeking an Assistant Manager, Food & Beverage I to oversee assigned food and beverage and culinary operations. This full-time position is based in Makkah, with responsibilities extending across our properties in Jeddah and Makkah. The role focuses on ensuring high levels of guest and employee satisfaction, maintaining operational standards, and contributing to financial goals.

Team Leadership and Operational Support

The Assistant Manager will play a key role in fostering a positive and productive work environment, providing direct support to the team and ensuring smooth daily operations.

• Create and nurture a property environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement, and a passion for providing service.
• Provide excellent customer service to all employees, responding quickly and proactively to their concerns.
• Utilize coaching skills throughout the property to develop staff capabilities.
• Demonstrate self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm in all interactions.
• Motivate and encourage staff to effectively solve guest and employee-related concerns.

Guest Experience Management

A core responsibility of this position is to ensure exceptional customer service, upholding the brand's standards and proactively addressing guest needs to build lasting relationships.

• Provide excellent customer service to all guests.
• Respond quickly and proactively to guest concerns.
• Understand and consistently apply the brand's service culture.
• Set clear service expectations for all guests, both internal and external.
• Take ownership of guest complaints or problems until they are fully resolved or addressed by the appropriate manager or employee.
• Follow up to ensure complaints have been addressed to the guest's satisfaction.
• Develop relationships with guests to foster repeat clientele.

Financial and Quality Compliance

The Assistant Manager will contribute to the financial health of the department and ensure adherence to company standards and procedures.

• Maintain operational standards and strive to meet or exceed financial goals for assigned operations.
• Comply with all corporate accounting procedures.
• Assist the General Manager as needed with the annual Quality audit.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience: 0-1 years of experience in food and beverage or culinary operations.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time role located in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, supporting operations in both Jeddah and Makkah. Salary details will be discussed directly with qualified candidates.
