About the Role

Marriott International is seeking an Assistant Manager - Food & Beverage I to join their team in Makkah. This full-time position is responsible for overseeing assigned food and beverage and culinary operations, focusing on guest and employee satisfaction, maintaining operational standards, and achieving financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and foster an environment that promotes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement, and a passion for service.
• Provide excellent customer service to all employees and respond proactively to their concerns.
• Utilize coaching skills across the property to encourage staff in resolving guest and employee-related issues.
• Demonstrate self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm in daily operations.

Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service

• Deliver excellent customer service and respond quickly and proactively to guest concerns.
• Understand and uphold the brand's service culture, setting clear service expectations for all guests.
• Take ownership of guest complaints until resolved or addressed by the appropriate manager or employee.
• Follow up to ensure complaints have been addressed to the guest's satisfaction.
• Develop relationships with guests to build repeat clientele.

Operational Support and Compliance

• Comply with all corporate accounting procedures.
• Assist the General Manager as needed with the annual Quality audit.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience in food and beverage or culinary operations. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong commitment to service excellence.
