Role Summary: Production Officer

The Production Officer leads a self-directed, multi-functional team responsible for the efficient processing and packing of seafood products, including shrimp, salmon, and various fish species. This role ensures adherence to company specifications, production targets, and food safety standards, while maintaining product quality, yield, and operational efficiency within established management parameters.

Core Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate team members to achieve daily seafood production targets, ensuring compliance with product specifications and quality standards.
• Provide on-the-job training and coaching to employees, ensuring tasks are performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and food safety requirements.
• Oversee all seafood processing activities, including cutting, trimming, glazing, grading, and packing, to ensure yield and quality targets are met.
• Review production plans in collaboration with the Planning Department to guarantee product availability according to schedules.
• Maximize service to internal customers by ensuring products are delivered at the correct time and meet specified requirements.
• Verify that all seafood products consistently meet company quality and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Fish Processing, or a related field.
• 1 to 4 years of experience in a similar role within a seafood or food processing environment.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• Demonstrated knowledge of HACCP, ISO, and GMP standards.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in one of Almarai's operational locations, including Makkah, King Abdullah Economic City, or Rabigh. The role involves working within a dynamic food processing environment, leading a dedicated team.
