About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Cashier-Food & Beverage Services to join their team in Makkah. This is a full-time position responsible for handling all payment methods and maintaining accurate financial records in accordance with company policies and procedures. The role involves ensuring the security of cash banks and processing transactions efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Process all payment methods in adherence to Accounting procedures and policies.
• Follow property control audit standards and cash handling procedures, including blind drops.
• Obtain and verify the accuracy of the assigned bank, secure required change, and keep the bank secure at all times.
• Count the bank at the end of each shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure the bank.
• Transport the bank to and from the assigned workstation.
• Set up and organize the cashier workstation with necessary supplies, forms, and resource materials, ensuring cleanliness at all times.
• Complete opening duties, including setting up supplies and tools, and ensuring all equipment is in working order.
• Adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures, reporting any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, uphold confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate professionally and clearly, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and support team goals.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Utilize computers and/or point-of-sale systems to enter and locate work-related information.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: No related work experience is required for this position.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required.
• License or Certification: None.
