The Role of Duty Manager

As a Duty Manager at Novotel Hotels in Makkah, you will contribute to the hotel's operations by ensuring efficient guest services and maintaining high standards. This full-time position requires 0-1 years of experience and involves working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. The role is suited for individuals who are adaptable, driven by success, and committed to integrity and compassion.

Key Responsibilities

• Coach, counsel, and discipline team members, providing constructive feedback to enhance performance.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all hotel features, facilities, services, and hours of operation.
• Understand all room types, numbers, layouts, decor, appointments, and locations.
• Be informed about all room rates, special packages, and promotions.
• Monitor daily house counts, expected arrivals, departures, and VIPs.
• Track room availability status for any given day.
• Be aware of scheduled in-house group activities, locations, and times.
• Adhere to all hotel and departmental policies, procedures, LQA, and Forbes Standards.
• Perform Night Audit duties during overnight shifts, including preparing and distributing necessary reports, checking arrival profiles, and inputting data into Opera.
• Monitor the check-in/check-out process, anticipate critical situations, and assist as needed to ensure efficient guest processing.
• Maintain positive guest relations consistently.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests regardless of business levels or time of day.
