The Opportunity: Lead QA/QC Electrical Engineer

Algihaz Holding is seeking a Lead QA/QC Electrical Engineer to join their team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is open to Saudi Nationals and requires an experienced professional to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities for electrical engineering aspects of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all QA/QC activities related to civil and electrical engineering on construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Develop and implement QA/QC plans, procedures, and processes specific to civil and electrical systems, in coordination with project management and engineering teams.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the QA/QC team, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluation.
• Review electrical design drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of civil and electrical installations, equipment, and systems to verify compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Document and report any deviations, deficiencies, or non-conformities identified during inspections, and oversee the implementation of corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, and vendors, to address quality-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to electrical engineering and quality assurance.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in QA/QC for electrical engineering within construction projects.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing QA/QC teams and processes.
• Strong understanding of project specifications, codes, and industry standards for electrical systems.
• Proficiency in reviewing electrical design documentation and conducting site inspections.
