About the Role

Brenntag is seeking a Sales Manager BES to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves executing Brenntag KSA’s sales strategy, representing the company professionally within the sales territory, and driving growth in sales and gross profit. The Sales Manager will be an integral part of the Brenntag Essential Business Model, reporting on activities to both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential customers and opportunities in the western region across the Energy, Water Treatment (WT), Agro, and industrial chemical sectors.
Manage ongoing, long-term client contracts, ensuring fulfillment according to terms and conditions, profitability, and practicality.
Collaborate with regional and global management teams to develop and implement strategies for accelerating regional growth.
Monitor the entire supply chain for relevant products to ensure timely order placement and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives.
Provide technical expertise and product demonstrations to customers, addressing their needs and concerns.
Develop business in the western region for the energy, WT, Agro, and industrial sectors, including communication with the international sourcing organization and product provision to established clientele.
Prepare detailed sales proposals and quotations, ensuring accurate pricing and product specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales campaigns for key suppliers and partners.
Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities.
Develop and implement a strategic sales plan aligned with company business objectives.
Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within the upstream oil and gas industry.
Manage the Customer Service team and troubleshoot their problems.
Support the logistics team with product delivery to ensure client satisfaction.
Develop and implement strategic account plans for key clients in the western region.
Adhere to company sales policies and procedures.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in sales management, particularly within the chemical sector or related industries. A strong understanding of market dynamics in the Energy, Water Treatment, Agro, and industrial sectors is essential. The ability to manage complex client relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse teams is also required.

Business Acumen

The role requires a solid understanding of market research, contract management, and strategic sales planning. The Sales Manager must be proficient in identifying growth opportunities, managing supply chain aspects, and providing technical product expertise. Experience in developing and executing sales campaigns and managing customer service operations is also important.
