Role Overview

KBR is seeking a Valve Shop Technician II to maintain rotating equipment in optimal condition. This full-time position involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of rotating equipment and mechanical systems to required standards. The role is based in Makkah, specifically in Rabigh or Makkah, and requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

Allocate maintenance activities to technicians and assemble teams.
Supervise ongoing jobs and provide progress updates to the Foreman.
Organize manpower resources, equipment, and material availability.
Arrange necessary work permits before commencing work.
Provide technical advice to technicians regarding proper tool and equipment usage.
Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance Planning, and Technical departments to execute and complete tasks.
Ensure accurate SAP data input, history, and actual hours are maintained.
Attend daily and weekly maintenance progress meetings.
Maintain strict compliance with SATORP standards and guidelines.
Ensure compliance with safe work practices, hazardous work regulations, and PPE usage according to SATORP standards.
Encourage reporting of near misses, unsafe conditions, and acts.
Participate in safety audits.
Attend scheduled safety and technical training.

Qualifications and Experience

2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
Demonstrated ability to maintain rotating equipment.
Proficiency in the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems.
Familiarity with SAP for data input and record-keeping.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position located in the Makkah region, with work primarily in Rabigh or Makkah. The role requires adherence to stringent safety and operational standards, including those set by SATORP.
