- Maintain an organized, clean, and well-stocked bar area, ensuring all equipment is ready for service.
- Ensure that drinks are served in a timely manner and that guest orders are accurately fulfilled.
- Greet guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner, making them feel welcome at the bar.
- Take guest orders, provide recommendations, and answer questions about drinks, menus, and specials.
- Engage with guests to create a positive and lively bar experience, offering a personalized touch when appropriate.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Ensure that the bar is stocked with necessary supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware.
- Monitor and replenish stock levels as required, collaborating with the Head Bartender to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Keep track of beverage consumption and usage, assisting with inventory checks and ordering supplies when needed.
- Follow all company policies for beverage handling, including proper storage, quality control, and portioning.
- Ensure the bar area is clean, including countertops, floors, and storage areas, at all times.
- Ensure that all guests are of legal drinking age and refuse service to intoxicated individuals.
- Process guest payments accurately, including cash, credit card transactions, and tabs.
- Maintain proper cash handling procedures, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Work closely with servers, other bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
- Assist in other bar duties, including setting up and cleaning the bar before and after service.
- Participate in team meetings, sharing ideas and collaborating on ways to improve the bar's service and guest experience.
