About the Role

Acwa is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join its team in Neom. This full-time role involves performing comprehensive electrical maintenance activities to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant electrical equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing preventive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance, including support for annual outages and overhauls.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance activities in accordance with established procedures and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain electrical equipment used in power and industrial plant operations.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and protection schematics.
• Install, inspect, service, adjust, and repair static and rotating electrical equipment.
• Coordinate equipment isolation and maintenance activities with the Electrical Supervisor and Operations team.
• Report spare parts and consumable requirements to support ongoing maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and comprehensive equipment history.
• Prepare work areas and equipment thoroughly before commencing maintenance activities.
• Support plant shutdowns, annual outages, and overhauling activities as required.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience as an Electrical Technician in a relevant industrial or power plant setting.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex electrical equipment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical electrical documentation, including drawings and schematics.
• Strong understanding of maintenance procedures and safety standards.

Work Environment

This is a plant-based role located in Neom, requiring a willingness to work in a remote location. The position may involve working outdoors, at heights, in confined spaces, and around industrial equipment. Adherence to strict safety procedures is mandatory at all times.

Safety and Operational Standards

• Maintain high housekeeping standards (5S) within the designated work area.
• Comply with all Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) requirements.
