TASNEE, established in 1985 as the Saudi private sector's first fully owned joint-stock industrial company, is dedicated to advancing economic diversification in Saudi Arabia. Headquartered in Riyadh, TASNEE is seeking an Electrical Technician to join its team in Al Jubail, Eastern Province, KSA. This full-time role is integral to the plant's operational efficiency and reports directly to the Electrical Supervisor.

Role Summary

The Electrical Technician is responsible for the electrical maintenance section, demonstrating proficiency in both technical and supervisory skills related to electrical maintenance. This position supports the electrical team by planning, scheduling, and organizing all necessary resources to execute maintenance jobs. The role ensures that all plant and requirement-related maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner, adhering to established quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, allocate, and schedule manpower for various maintenance jobs to meet daily objectives, in accordance with company and industry work procedure standards.
• Respond swiftly to emergency repairs to restore failed machines or equipment to operating condition as quickly as possible.
• Review and/or re-evaluate preventive maintenance schedules for assigned equipment, including motors, transformers, MCC switchgear, UPS, and VSB, to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
• Ensure the workplace is consistently maintained clean and tidy, in line with company standards.
• Adhere to HSE regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Lead daily toolbox talks with technicians, highlighting any safety issues related to assigned work.
• Be available on standby when required to meet urgent or contingent plant requirements, such as plant turnaround or shutdown call-outs, and to cover emergency jobs.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance. A strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and maintenance practices is essential for success in this position.

Technical Skills

• Awareness of MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with the SAP system.

Work Context

This is a full-time position based in Al Jubail, KSA, within the Eastern Province. The role requires a proactive approach to maintenance and adherence to strict safety protocols, including availability for standby duties as operational needs dictate.
