The Role of Service Engineer

Yokogawa is seeking a Service Engineer to join its team in Yanbu, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves providing technical support and services for Yokogawa's product portfolio. The role requires 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field and focuses on ensuring customer satisfaction and optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver prompt technical support for Yokogawa Centum VP system, ProSafe-RS, and PRM.
• Execute on-site commissioning, start-up assistance, and emergency support.
• Manage inquiries, troubleshoot, investigate, analyze, test, and resolve issues reported from client sites.
• Participate in add-on/expansion service projects during engineering, FAT, SAT, and commissioning phases.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Yokogawa's product portfolio, including hardware and software modifications and upgrades.
• Implement system modifications and enhancements, both online and offline, as required.
• Maintain customer satisfaction metrics, ensure optimal process uptime, and enhance system performance.
• Deliver specialized or customized training sessions to clients upon request.
• Contribute to Yokogawa's service division growth initiatives by identifying opportunities for additional services within the existing client base.
• Adapt to varying role locations (onshore/offshore) and durations, including short-term or long-term resident site support engagements.

Required Competencies and Skills

• Robust understanding of Yokogawa Control system (DCS) and Safety system (ESD) engineering and online maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with safety standards, guidelines, and FSM concepts, with a preference for TUV certification.
• Superior troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities, supported by proficiency in various control techniques and optimization methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with a customer-centric approach and a commitment to service excellence.
