Supervisor B&I and Sites

About the Role

Catrion Group is seeking a Supervisor, B&I and Remote Sites, to join their team in the Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing operations at Business & Industry (B&I) and remote sites, ensuring compliance, providing training, and managing client relationships and site administration. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience and is based in cities including Dammam, Al Khobar, Dhahran, Al Jubail, Al-Ahsa, Al Qatif, Ras Tannurah, Al Khafji, Buqayq, and Hafar Al Batin.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with the direct manager to ensure comprehensive support for the site and team.
• Ensure junior team members comply with CATRION systems and processes.
• Assist in training junior team members on the CATRION quality system, ensuring understanding, adherence, and consistent service delivery through toolbox talks and in-post training.
• Conduct regular area reviews to ensure team members meet performance standards and assist in completing employee evaluations and improvement plans.
• Manage client relationships through regular formal and informal interaction, resolving issues promptly without compromising project profitability.
• Attract and retain an experienced and effective management team and workforce to minimize staff turnover.
• Ensure the highest standards of food safety and hygiene are consistently maintained in accordance with the CATRION Quality Assurance Program.
• Report any stores shortages or required products to the team leader and manage all camp/site administration.
• Assist the team leader in maintaining budgets for labor, food, cleaning materials, utensils, and other miscellaneous costs.
• Provide daily reporting to own/client maintenance on technical support for preventive maintenance.
• Implement quality monitoring systems to measure customer satisfaction, client, and contract compliance.
• Train all site staff in the CATRION quality system and ensure staff induction aligns with CATRION policies.
• Manage effective training and development for all team members, identifying any gaps to the direct line manager.
• Lead and communicate effectively to maintain high staff motivation levels and assist in employee grievance management.
• Ensure daily material issuing is in line with unit budgets and conduct efficient Daily Walk Throughs.

Staff Development and Oversight

• Guide, support, monitor, evaluate, and train staff members.
• Organize and plan for continuity of work and service provision.
• Monitor and maintain appropriate levels of conduct and work performance.
• Ensure safety and good work practices are consistently followed.
• Monitor staffing levels and deploy staff effectively.
• Deliver training and coaching as required, ensuring all direct reports undertake appropriate hygiene and safety-related training.
• Ensure all direct reports are trained and competent to the appropriate level.

Compliance and Continuous Improvement

• Comply with appropriate QHSE requirements.
• Assist in disciplinary investigations and formal disciplinary/grievance interviews alongside the team leader.
• Participate in periodical inspections and contribute to identifying and implementing improvements.
• Take personal responsibility for closing identified development gaps and future requirements.
• Ensure personal competencies are known, understood, adhered to, and updated on an ongoing basis.
• Ensure personal working hygiene standards meet both company and statutory requirements.

Financial Management and Client Relations

• Deliver budgeted profit through effective management of food costs, labor costs, and overhead costs.
• Present a positive image of CATRION to clients and customers.
• Accompany the team leader in representing the company in regular on-site client meetings if requested.

Team Collaboration and Professional Development

• Actively participate and learn from all training to ensure tasks are completed competently and professionally.
• Participate fully as part of both the company and unit team, ensuring team objectives are met to enable the company to provide excellent service.
