About KBR and the Role

KBR, Inc. is seeking an Area Maintenance Manager Aromatics (Derivatives) to join its team in Al Jubail, Eastern region. This full-time position is within KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS), which delivers holistic solutions across the asset life cycle, including licensed process technologies, advisory services, and technical expertise. The role focuses on leading and managing all maintenance activities for the Aromatics (Derivatives) Area.

Role Overview

The Area Maintenance Manager Aromatics (Derivatives) will be responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the Aromatics (Derivatives) Area in accordance with company standards. This involves overseeing various maintenance functions and supporting reliability initiatives to optimize plant performance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all maintenance activities for the Aromatics (Derivatives) Area, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation in accordance with Company standards.
Execute and oversee mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and rotating equipment maintenance for Aromatics/Derivatives process units.
Ensure timely execution and reporting of maintenance activities through the CMMS system.
Support Planning & Scheduling and Reliability teams in maintenance optimization, bad actor analysis, and equipment reliability improvement.
Lead maintenance execution during plant shutdowns, turnarounds, and major equipment overhauls.
Manage day-to-day maintenance teams and contractors while ensuring strict compliance with HSE policies and procedures.
Prepare weekly maintenance performance reports and participate in maintenance review meetings.
Develop maintenance personnel through technical coaching and job-specific training in coordination with HR.

Required Experience

A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant field is required for this position.

This is a full-time position based in Al Jubail, Eastern region. The role involves managing maintenance teams and contractors within an industrial plant setting, requiring adherence to strict HSE policies and procedures.
