The Role of QA/QC Instrument Engineer

KBR Saudi Arabia is seeking a QA/QC Instrument Engineer for a full-time position in Al Jubail. This role involves technical and supervisory responsibilities, ensuring adherence to international standards and codes related to mechanical works, in line with organizational standards. The position requires 5-10 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor the progress of instrumentation works, installation, and commissioning across various units.
• Plan and control the inspection activities for all instrumentation works and related tasks.
• Oversee the testing and commissioning phases of instrumentation works.
• Monitor the final inspection of completed instrumentation works prior to client handover.
• Review instrumentation shop drawings and vendor drawings to ensure compliance with contract documents.
• Evaluate instrumentation material submittals for adherence to contract documents.
• Assess instrumentation specifications and calculations for conformance with contract documents.
• Implement the Instrumentation Quality Assurance Plan.
• Review as-built drawings of instrumentation works, operation and maintenance manuals, and warranties.
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures.
• Encourage the reporting of unsafe acts and conditions.
• Comply with all Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) procedures before and during work.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated experience in testing and commissioning of instrumentation works.
