KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) delivers comprehensive solutions across the entire asset lifecycle, encompassing licensed process technologies, advisory services, technical expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions for optimizing assets. KBR Saudi Arabia is seeking a Head of QA/QC to join its team in Al Jubail. This is a full-time position critical to ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability in plant maintenance operations.

The Head of QA/QC Function

The primary purpose of this role is to facilitate, monitor, and control plant maintenance activities, quality assurance procedures, and policies. The Head of QA/QC will be instrumental in developing and implementing robust quality management systems, ensuring all maintenance processes adhere to specified quality and HSEQ standards, and driving continuous improvement across operations.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop QA plans and process control procedures to ensure maintenance processes meet company quality and HSEQ standards.
• Maintain the Corrective Action program and other established quality systems.
• Develop and implement the overall Quality Management System.
• Coordinate and participate in internal audits alongside Company Quality personnel.
• Conduct Quality Assurance investigations for deviations, out-of-specifications, and other incidents.
• Review maintenance processes to ensure compliance with applicable Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions.
• Liaise with other departments on all Quality Assurance-related matters.
• Perform additional Quality Assurance functions as required.
• Support contractor staff in achieving compliance and continuous improvement objectives.
• Ensure all QA department personnel receive adequate training for effective job performance.
• Manage the QA departmental budget and administrative functions to support efficient and cost-effective maintenance operations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent field.
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a Quality Controller position.
• Holding a NACE Level 2 certification.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong technical understanding of Quality Control and Assurance principles.
• Proficient knowledge in Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Well-organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.
• Proven leadership skills, particularly within large organizations.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking and openness to new ideas.
• Ability to achieve business results effectively within a multi-cultural environment.
