About the Role

Skilled Careers is recruiting for a QA/QC Manager to join a leading interior fit-out contractor based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time senior position is responsible for overseeing and leading the entire Quality Assurance and Quality Control function across high-quality interior fit-out projects. The role ensures that all works consistently meet client requirements, project specifications, and international quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QA/QC processes and procedures across interior fit-out projects.
• Lead quality inspections throughout production, installation, and project completion phases.
• Review project plans, shop drawings, material samples, product submittals, and mock-ups.
• Manage comprehensive quality documentation, including Quality Plans, ITPs, NCRs, inspection reports, and quality registers.
• Lead internal and external quality audits in line with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
• Identify non-conformances and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Work closely with project teams, site engineers, production teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure quality adherence.
• Oversee quality across joinery production and installation, including ceilings, wardrobes, kitchen cabinetry, and associated fit-out elements.
• Monitor supplier and subcontractor quality performance.
• Lead and develop the QA/QC team.
• Manage quality close-out, final handover processes, and requirements throughout the defect liability period.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Quality professional with a strong background in construction, specifically within the interior fit-out sector. This role requires a proven ability to lead QA/QC teams and manage quality across multiple complex projects, ensuring adherence to the highest standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 15 years of QA/QC experience within the construction industry.
• Strong experience specifically within interior fit-out and joinery production.
• Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or the wider GCC region is essential.
• Excellent knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, Quality Management Systems, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality audits, and non-conformance management.
• Strong understanding of fit-out materials, finishes, joinery manufacturing, and installation methods.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in leading and developing QA/QC teams.
• Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
