Rotating Technician I

About the Role

Sankyu Saudi Arabia is seeking a Rotating Technician I to join their team in Al Jubail, Eastern Province. This full-time role focuses on maintaining rotating equipment in optimal condition, performing installations, and executing maintenance and repair tasks for rotating equipment and mechanical systems according to established standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Allocate maintenance activities to various technicians and assemble the necessary teams.
• Supervise all ongoing jobs and provide progress updates to the Foreman.
• Organize manpower resources, equipment, and materials to ensure availability.
• Arrange necessary work permits prior to the commencement of work.
• Provide technical advice to technicians on the proper use of tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance Planning, and Technical departments to execute and complete jobs efficiently.
• Ensure that SAP data input, history, and actual hours are accurately maintained.
• Attend daily and weekly maintenance progress meetings.

Safety and Compliance

• Maintain strict compliance with SANKYU standards and guidelines.
• Ensure adherence to safe work practices, hazardous work regulations, and proper PPE usage according to SANKYU standards.
• Encourage the reporting of near misses, unsafe conditions, and acts.
• Participate in safety audits.

Experience Requirements

Candidates for this position should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in maintaining rotating equipment and mechanical systems.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Jubail, within the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia. The role involves working closely with various technical and operational departments to ensure efficient maintenance execution.
