AsasAlJood General Contracting Company, based in Jubail Industrial City within Saudi Arabia's Eastern Region, is seeking a Sales Engineer. This full-time role is central to supporting sales growth and business development activities across the Kingdom, focusing on a diverse portfolio of industrial solutions.

The Sales Engineer Role

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for promoting and selling AsasAlJood’s portfolio, which includes rotating equipment, engineered solutions, aftermarket services, overhauling, and maintenance capabilities. This position requires a strong Mechanical Engineering background with 5-10 years of hands-on experience in rotating equipment services sales. The successful candidate will engage with industrial customers to understand their technical requirements, provide suitable solutions, and foster long-term relationships across sectors such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Water, and Mining.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell rotating equipment solutions, including pumps, compressors, blowers, vacuum systems, gearboxes, motors, and related mechanical equipment.
• Develop new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
• Visit customers to understand technical requirements and provide appropriate equipment solutions.
• Conduct technical presentations, product discussions, and customer meetings.
• Prepare technical and commercial quotations, proposals, and tender documents.
• Review customer specifications, datasheets, and technical requirements to ensure proper equipment selection.
• Coordinate with engineering, service, and operations teams to deliver effective technical solutions.
• Support the complete sales process from opportunity identification through quotation, negotiation, order follow-up, and customer satisfaction.
• Follow up on sales leads, inquiries, and quotations to achieve sales targets.
• Maintain current knowledge of rotating equipment applications, market trends, and competitor activities.
• Prepare sales reports, customer visit reports, and opportunity forecasts.
• Support aftermarket business opportunities, including spare parts, repairs, upgrades, and maintenance services.
• Participate in customer meetings, exhibitions, and technical events.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5-10 years of experience in rotating equipment services sales.
• Strong technical knowledge of rotating equipment applications, engineering specifications, and industrial processes.
• Demonstrated ability to understand customer requirements and provide comprehensive technical and commercial solutions.
• Valid Saudi driving license.

Work Environment and Location

This full-time position is based in Jubail Industrial City, Saudi Arabia. The role requires regular travel across Saudi Arabia to meet with customers and support business development activities. Salary for this position will be discussed during the interview process.
