About Umq Design and the Role

Umq Design is a leading design and build company in Saudi Arabia, specializing in high-quality interior fit-out and construction solutions. The company is committed to excellence in project execution, ensuring every project meets stringent standards of quality, safety, and craftsmanship. We are seeking an experienced Architectural Site Supervisor to join our Execution Department in Al Khobar, Eastern Region.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Architectural Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing architectural and fit-out works directly on-site. This role ensures that all construction activities are executed in strict accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, established quality standards, and defined project schedules. The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of interior fit-out and finishing works, excellent site coordination abilities, and the capacity to lead site teams effectively while upholding quality, safety, and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily architectural and interior fit-out works on-site.
• Ensure all work is executed in accordance with approved shop drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate daily site activities with Project Engineers, Site Engineers, subcontractors, and other disciplines.
• Monitor the quality of architectural finishes, including gypsum works, ceilings, partitions, flooring, wall finishes, joinery, painting, and decorative elements.
• Inspect completed work and ensure compliance with quality standards before client or consultant inspections.
• Monitor manpower productivity and ensure work progresses according to the approved schedule.
• Coordinate material deliveries and verify that materials comply with approved submittals.
• Identify site issues and coordinate with the engineering team to resolve technical challenges.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements and company policies.
• Attend site inspections and support snagging, testing, and final project handover.
• Prepare daily progress updates and report site activities to the Project Engineer or Project Manager.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure a safe and organized work environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in architectural site supervision.
• Demonstrated experience in interior fit-out projects.
• Experience across various project types, including Commercial Buildings, Corporate Offices, Hospitality Projects, and Retail Projects.
• Prior experience working with Design & Build Contractors is preferred.
