HSE Lead Mining

About the Role

EHIF is seeking an HSE Lead - Mining to support its Projects business. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and may initially be office-based in Al Khobar, Riyadh, or Al Jubail, prior to mobilization to a site-based assignment within Saudi Arabia on an 8/2 rotation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice and guidance to Managers on all HSE-related matters.
• Oversee the roll-out of Group HSE annual objectives and initiatives, and develop company HSE objectives.
• Support Business Unit/Contract/Project Managers and HSE Advisors in the development and implementation of Group HSE objectives and other initiatives.
• Assist senior Managers in incident and accident investigations using appropriate processes such as Helix or Taproot.
• Monitor best practices and develop leading-edge HSE initiatives relevant to the supported business.
• Conduct Management Support Visits to installations and work-sites.
• Support senior Managers and HSE Advisors in the timely reporting of both leading and lagging HSE Indicators.
• Undertake lagging indicator reviews of incident/accident trends and provide timely advice to senior Managers and Corporate Management on necessary actions and initiatives.
• Provide mentorship and training for graduate/new recruits within the HSE team as required.
• Offer cross-Business Unit support when needed.
• Conduct HSE Inductions for new hires.
• Develop HSE presentational material to support inductions and Group initiatives.

Location

The position may initially be based in the offices located in Al Khobar, Riyadh, or Al Jubail. Following this initial phase, the role will transition to a site-based assignment within Saudi Arabia, operating on an 8/2 rotation schedule.
