About the Role

Salt is seeking an experienced Master Data Management (MDM) Manager to lead its Data Management function. This full-time role is based in Al Khobar, Eastern region, and involves overseeing the MDM strategy, governance, and operational excellence within a large, complex enterprise environment. The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy, consistency, quality, and reliability of master data across various business functions and systems.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of the Master Data Management strategy, aligning it with broader business and technology objectives.
Establish and maintain robust data governance, stewardship, and quality frameworks.
Oversee the integration and consolidation of master data from multiple sources and enterprise systems.
Drive data harmonisation, standardisation, modelling, and mapping to ensure consistency across the organisation.
Oversee the implementation, management, and optimisation of MDM platforms and tools.
Develop and maintain the master data architecture strategy and roadmap.
Establish data quality KPIs, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure appropriate policies, procedures, and controls are in place to support data integrity, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Lead, mentor, and develop the Data Management team, setting objectives and ensuring effective delivery.
Collaborate with senior stakeholders across technology and business functions to drive adoption of data management standards and practices.
Manage budgets, resources, and operational performance within the Data Management function.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related discipline. A Master's degree is advantageous.
Minimum of 9 years of experience in Data Management, Master Data Management, or a related IT function.
At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management position.
Proven experience in implementing and managing enterprise Master Data Management solutions.
Strong understanding of data governance, data stewardship, and data quality frameworks.
Experience in data modelling, mapping, integration, harmonisation, and standardisation.
Knowledge of MDM platforms and technologies such as Informatica, SAP MDG, IBM InfoSphere, or Reltio is advantageous.
Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture and master data management strategies.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
CDMP or other relevant data management certifications are an advantage.

Work Environment

This role operates within a large, complex enterprise environment, requiring collaboration with various business and technology functions. The position is full-time and based in Al Khobar.
