About the Role

Front End Limited Company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its team in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. This full-time role is central to managing the month-end close process and ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting for a fast-growing, project-driven business. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, leading statutory and tax compliance efforts, and strengthening overall accounting processes and controls, with an emphasis on leveraging AI tools for efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and account reconciliations.
Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording of transactions in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Prepare monthly financial statements, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow, with supporting schedules and analysis.
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable cycles, covering supplier payments, client invoicing against project milestones, and collections follow-up.
Handle project accounting, which includes cost allocation, revenue recognition under percentage-of-completion, and work-in-progress reconciliations.
Lead tax and statutory compliance, including value-added tax (VAT) returns, withholding tax, and zakat filings with the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA), and compliance with FATOORAH electronic invoicing requirements.
Manage payroll accounting and related filings, such as General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) contributions and end-of-service benefit provisions in line with Saudi labor law.
Act as the primary point of contact for the annual external audit, preparing audit schedules and resolving auditor queries.
Manage fixed assets, including capitalization, depreciation, and periodic verification.
Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and documentation as the company scales.
Mentor junior accountants and review their work.

Leveraging Technology

The finance team at Front End Limited Company is expected to utilize AI tools to enhance efficiency. This includes automating reconciliations, reporting, and routine accounting workflows, and championing the adoption of these tools across the finance function to close faster, reduce manual work, and improve accuracy.

Qualifications and Experience

5-10 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within a project-driven business.
Demonstrated expertise in month-end and year-end close processes.
Solid understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Proficiency in tax and statutory compliance, including VAT, withholding tax, zakat, and FATOORAH requirements in Saudi Arabia.
Experience with payroll accounting and Saudi labor law provisions (GOSI, end-of-service benefits).
Ability to manage external audits and resolve auditor queries.
Experience with project accounting principles, including cost allocation and revenue recognition.
A proactive approach to strengthening internal controls and accounting policies.
A willingness to adopt and leverage AI tools for accounting automation and efficiency.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. The role operates within a dynamic finance team that values accuracy, compliance, and the adoption of modern technological tools to streamline operations.
