Senior Service Engineer

About ABB and the Role

ABB is seeking a Senior Service Engineer to join its team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This is a full-time position within the Automation Business Area, specifically the Process Industries Division and Metals & Power Conversion Business Line. The role primarily supports operations in Saudi Arabia, with an extended scope to the GCC region, focusing on Metals, Chemical, and other Process Industries.

Role Overview and Reporting Structure

The Senior Service Engineer will coordinate specific aspects of projects and support Project Managers in the management and execution of project activities. This role is responsible for ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery of projects. The position reports directly to the ME Operation Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing High Power Rectifier / Electrical / Control / Automation Projects & Services.
• Conducting analysis of planned versus actual project performance.
• Monitoring, controlling, and releasing requests for invoicing.
• Controlling documentation accuracy and consistency based on assigned tasks and agreed-upon customer procedures.
• Reviewing project plans to ensure site safety and integrity topics are identified and addressed prior to project commencement.
• Preparing Bill of Materials (BOM) and coordinating with Supply Chain Management (SCM).
• Performing Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).

Required Experience

• Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience.
