We are seeking a full-time SME Pharmaceutical to join our team in Al Khobar, Eastern, Saudi Arabia.

Purpose of the Role

The SME Pharmaceutical will be instrumental in developing specialized industrial knowledge and skillset capabilities to address complex challenges and streamline specific industry needs within Yokogawa's digital transformation initiatives. This role focuses on creating value for clients through effective communication and collaboration across various business units and regions. Based at YKSA, the SME will support Yokogawa's objective to become a trusted partner for Digital Transformation and Operational Excellence via the Smart Manufacturing and IA2IA program, leveraging deep understanding of customer operations and workflows to identify key business and operational issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic advisor and technical lead for pharmaceutical projects across Middle East countries, with a primary focus on KSA markets.
• Facilitate communication between customers, integrators, and internal teams to ensure efficient execution of automation and digital system projects, including DCS, SCADA, PLC, LIMS, and QMS.
• Maintain and leverage a robust network of pharmaceutical industry contacts in Brazil, serving as a liaison with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical industry trends and develop tailored solutions utilizing Yokogawa's products and services.
• Identify and analyze customer needs within the pharmaceutical sector and propose effective technical solutions.
• Promote Yokogawa's offerings within the pharmaceutical industry, articulating value propositions to drive sales and support pre-sales and post-sales activities with clients.
• Provide expert technical consultation to address industry-specific challenges and deliver optimal solutions to customers.
• Cultivate strong customer relationships, collaborate effectively with internal teams, and report activities to senior management for strategic decision-making.
• Support in-house employees by enhancing their understanding of processes to facilitate efficient customer conversations and meeting leadership.
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive documents and materials on company products and services, such as reports, presentations, and information packages, for meetings with customers, EPCs, and end-users.
• Develop, discover, and, as required, execute Life Business Projects under smart cities, contingent on project scope and requirements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 12-15 years of Sales and Engineering experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated track record in Level 2 or Level 3 system projects within pharmaceutical environments.
• Supervisory experience in the implementation and validation of DCS, SCADA, PLC, LIMS, and QMS systems, including timeline management.
• Previous experience with a competitor in pharmaceutical technology, consulting, or as a system integrator with a pharmaceutical focus is required.
• Experience and understanding of cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) are preferred.
