We are looking for a Purchasing Manager who will be pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of our hotel.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide a courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service at all times, following ACCOR Standards of Performance.
- Conduct day-to-day audit work on operations and advise the Financial Controller on market conditions.
- Implement and maintain procurement policies and procedures.
- Encourage cost control while ensuring high quality products at the best prices through market surveys and supplier negotiations.
- Place purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of supplies and equipment.
- Maintain purchasing records and manage minimum stock levels.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to ensure that food purchases meet quality standards.
- Keep updated with import requirements and facilitate efficient importation of goods.
- Recruit and train Accounting & Finance employees who support our management philosophy.
- Conduct yearly performance appraisals and provide regular feedback.
Qualifications:
- 57 years of experience in major hotel operations or head office.
- Experience in the Saudi Arabian market.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
- Previous experience in strategic sourcing and category management.
- Excellent communication skills.
