Senior Scheduler Planning Engineer

About the Role

Penspen is seeking a Senior Scheduler Planning Engineer to join their team in Al Khafji, Eastern region. This full-time role involves providing planning oversight and schedule assurance across all phases of EPC contractor work. The position focuses on reviewing and validating project schedules and ensuring alignment with project milestones and contractual obligations.

Role Purpose and Context

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the integrity and accuracy of project schedules. This includes critical path analysis, resource histograms, and progress measurement systems. The Senior Scheduler Planning Engineer will play a key part in maintaining schedule adherence and supporting overall project control processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor schedule performance and identify potential deviations.
• Assess recovery plans and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Report schedule variances and propose effective mitigation strategies.
• Participate actively in progress review meetings.
• Facilitate interface coordination among various project stakeholders.
• Contribute to constructability planning efforts.
• Validate contractor’s monthly progress reports, lookahead schedules, and productivity metrics.
• Support risk assessment workshops and integrate identified schedule risks into project control processes.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in planning and scheduling engineering, particularly within an EPC environment.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position based in Al Khafji, Eastern region. The role requires on-site presence to effectively manage and oversee project schedules.
