Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor

About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor to join their team in Riyadh and Ad Dir'iyah. This full-time position is responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction within the hotel environment. The role requires 0-1 years of experience and involves overseeing housekeeping operations and coordinating with various departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and facilities such as the pool after cleaning to ensure quality standards are met.
• Manage sold room reports, verify room status, identify discrepant rooms, prioritize cleaning schedules, and update the status of departing guest rooms.
• Assist Housekeeping management with daily activities and act as a liaison to coordinate efforts between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
• Document and resolve issues related to discrepant rooms in coordination with the Front Desk.
• Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments to the team.
• Communicate relevant issues to the next shift and complete all required paperwork accurately.
• Support management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees.
• Adhere to all company and safety and security policies and procedures, report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, and complete necessary safety training and certifications.
• Ensure a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guest service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Communicate professionally with others, develop and maintain positive working relationships, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards across all tasks.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance, and in excess of 55 pounds with assistance.
• Capability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods across an entire work shift.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
• Read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in a related field.
• Ability to speak with others using clear and professional language.
• Capability to perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
