About Neway Valve and the Accountant Role

Neway Valve, a prominent company in the Eastern region, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Accountant to join its team in Dammam. This full-time position is ideal for professionals with 2 to 5 years of experience in accounting, particularly within a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and robust reporting.

Role Overview

The Accountant will be responsible for managing various financial operations, from processing accounting entries to preparing detailed financial and cost analysis reports. This role requires a strong understanding of financial regulations and a proactive approach to supporting both internal and external financial processes, contributing significantly to the company's financial health and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and review accounting entries within the SAP system.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial and cost analysis reports.
  • Participate in periodic inventory and asset counts, and monitor inventory turnover.
  • Support external audits (headquarters/local) by providing necessary internal and external documentation.
  • Ensure strict compliance with IFRS principles and Saudi VAT and ZATCA regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional and management teams.
  • Manage daily company banking activities and coordinate with banks.
  • Process bank transfers, deposits, government payments, and other banking transactions.
  • Handle and execute financial tasks accurately and efficiently, often within short notice.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the HQ Finance Department.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of cost accounting experience, specifically within manufacturing enterprises.
  • Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) principles.
  • Knowledge of standard costing systems.
  • Experience with online corporate banking and bank reconciliation processes.
  • SAP experience is preferred.

Essential Skills and Attributes

  • Fluent spoken English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a supportive and cooperative approach.
  • Ability to ensure compliance with Saudi VAT and ZATCA regulations.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Eastern region, specifically located at the SPARK facility. The role involves working collaboratively within a professional finance department and across various company functions. We invite qualified candidates to apply.
